Joseph Ciaccio is a 2022 MIF/RHP with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from Madison, MS who attends Jackson Preparatory. Medium frame with an athletic build showing some room to fill out physically in the future. Primary Middle Infielder sitting back on the baseball before fielding it out front. Clean gather as he shows a quick transfer getting it out hand in a hurry. Fluid actions throughout with tools that project. Accurate arm from all angles with throws starting to show carry across the diamond. Secondary Righthanded hitter utilizing his athleticism on the mound with smooth and easy mechanics. Longer arm circle in the back before delivering from a three-quarter arm slot. Pounded the strike-zone working both sides of the plate. Fastball showing arm side run with some sink as well topping out at 77 MPH. Curveball showing depth as he landed it for strikes while he mixed in a late diving changeup as well. Righthanded hitter starting from a narrow stance with a closed off front foot. Smaller leg kick and stride while hunched over the plate. Drops hands and then shows a longer swing path with an uphill plane. Drives the baseball where it is pitched showing good feel for the barrel. Outstanding Student.
