2023 Florida Workout Showcase (Friday)
Kustarr Webb is a 2024 C/1B with a 6-1 215 lb. frame from Jacksonville, FL who attends Westside. A bigger kid and larger frame with clean and present strength. Ran a 7.54 60-yard dash. Primary catcher with slightly open feet and a quick step into his throws. Had a shorter arm action with a quick release and clean transfer. Had good strength behind it with throws at 79 mph, producing a 1.97 pop time. Solid catch-n-throw actions overall. Also worked out at first base, with a shorter arm stroke and clean feeds to second shown. His throws were accurate and real good to second. Had a clean round at first base, showing off a good glove and solid throws. A right-handed hitter with an even base and upright stance. Lower hand set and low back elbow with a quick step and stride. Plenty of bat speed as the hands get deep before working hard through the zone with a ton of strength. A simple and fluid approach, using the whole field during his round of BP with his best contact toward the pull-side gap. Great student. Named to the 2023 Florida Workout Showcase TP List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
