Landon Wooten is a 2022 3B/RHP, 1B with a 6-4 193 lb. frame from Orange Park, FL who attends Oakleaf. Large frame with an athletic build and square shoulders. Ran an 8.33 second 60-yard dash. Worked out defensively as a primary third baseman. Fields the ball out front. Moves well with long athletic strides to the ball. Longer transfer with accurate throws to the bag topping out at 75 miles per hour. Righthanded hitter with a narrow and balanced stance. Utilizes a leg lift trigger for timing. Creates separation with an inside out compact swing. Generates some lift out front with hard impact when on time. Secondary righthanded pitcher working from the stretch. Loose arm action in the back into a three-quarters release. Has some deception to delivery and hides the ball. Puts cut on the fastball at 79 miles per hour and will throw it inside to hitters. Very good student as well.
