Connor O'Hara is a 2019 C/MIF, 3B with a 6-2 180 lb. frame from Davie, FL who attends St. Thomas Aquinas High School. Large frame, lean, slender build, athleticism, and room to continue to fill out physically and add strength. Posted a 7.22 time in the 60 yard dash. Primary catcher, tall at point of reception, showed clean footwork and got on top of throws. Showed a quicker transfer with arm strength up to 77 mph and a pop time of 1.94. Also worked out from the infield, showed good arm strength and smooth footwork with ability to change arm slots on the move. Graded out best as an infielder. At the plate, started with an upright stance, even base, high back elbow, and utilized a simple leg lift timing mechanism. Swing worked primarily through upper half with a lifted approach through contact. Showed present bat speed with a longer path to the ball. Up the middle approach and should continue to incorporate lower half into swing. Good student.
