Lee Robinson is a 2019 SS/MIF, RHP with a 5-9 155 lb. frame from Glen Burnie, MD who attends Archbishop Spalding High School. Younger player with a lean, slender frame, athleticism, and room to continue to fill out physically. Primary shortstop, funnels to field, smooth actions to backhand, moved well laterally, with clean transfer skills. Developing arm strength across up to 75 mph. At the plate, started with a wide base, open stance, high hand set, high back elbow, and a quick leg lift timing mechanism. Inside hand path to the ball and flashed a line drive swing path. Worked up the middle and to the opposite field. Swing will continue to improve with additional lower half and strength. Also pitched, closed landing, long arm circle, and an over the top arm slot. Generated extension down the mound with limited lower half drive. Fastball worked 72-74 mph with arm side life and sink to the lower third of the zone. 12/6 shaped Curveball showed depth and flashed sharpness at 64 mph. Good student.
