Jackson Jacobson is a 2020 OF/RHP with a 5-10 152 lb. frame from Lexington, KY who attends Paul Laurence Dunbar HS. Medium frame with slender, athletic present build. Ran 60 yard dash in 7.11 seconds. Sets up to hit from even-based stance with high hands, drops hands into load and has large leg lift, pinches hands to knee, shows athleticism through hitting sequence. Gets barrel out front with good bat speed, showed solid barrel skills, will drive the ball better as he continues to add strength. Worked out in the outfield, moves to and through the ball well, fields cleanly, athleticism to actions and footwork, shows quality arm strength with throws clocked up to 80 mph. Pitched as well, big spine tilt to get arm up to near overtop slot, double stab with both glove and arm side, works downhill to glove side, fastball worked 70-75 mph with some plane. Showed curveball with 11/5 shape and gradual depth. Good student.
