Mike DiFiore is a 2019 1B/LHP, OF with a 6-2 200 lb. frame from Lucas, TX who attends Lovejoy. Large build, strength present in lower half, squared off shoulders. 7.24 60 yard dash. Primary first baseman, sits back on ball with fluid actions, long arm action into throws with accuracy and some strength behind it. Also took reps in the outfield, good footwork working through the ball well, showed similar arm strength to first base. Also pitched, comes to a belt high leg lift, clean take away from the glove with a clean arm action to a high 3/4 arm slot, three pitch mix he was willing to throw in any counts, showed a fastball in the mid- to upper-70s, a changeup that showed good potential, and a developing curveball with 11-to-5 shape. Lefthanded hitter, wide base, even stance, high hand set with a high back elbow, big leg lift trigger, full path to the baseball, gets extended well, good bat speed with a slightly lifted bat path, worked the pull side showing some power when squared.
