Cuyler Baxter is a 2024 SS/BHP with a 5-9 145 lb. frame from Greensboro, NC who attends Greensboro Day. Medium frame with lean, young build showing some room to fill out physically down the road. Ran a 8.23 second sixty yard dash. Primary Shortstop funneling the baseball cleanly with a bend at waist gather. Slow transfer and release making sure he is accurate. Makes the routine play with ease. Will make a jump with a sense of urgency as he is fundamentally sound. Switch Hitter. From the Left side, shows a hanging load before throwing hands at the baseball. Finding barrels often with a patient approach. From the Right side, starts with lower hands before showing smooth cuts. Short to it, long through it type swing. Hard swings creating loud pop when he gets extended. Battles late in counts and shows he can simplify when needed.
