Connor Adams is a 2021 RHP/2B with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Birmingham, AL who attends Oak Mountain HS. Tall and projectable frame with plenty of projection remaining moving forward. Ran a 7.64 second 60 yard dash. Primary righthanded pitcher, slight crossfire delivery with plenty of looseness throughout motion, repeats his mechanics well taking his arm back to a long arm action up to a low 3/4 arm slot. Fastball topped out at 79 mph with frequent natural armside life to the pitch, mixes in a slider with good lateral depth, was able to work to both sides of the plate and primary down in the zone during his outing. Secondary second baseman, took reps in the infield sitting back on the baseball bending his knees at a wide gather, funnels the baseball mostly clean leading into a glove pump release, loose arm with a low arm slot into throws, topped out at 75 mph across the diamond. Lefthanded hitter, sets up with a spread out stance, rotational swing that will improve pop with the implementation of a weight shift into contact. Great student.
