Christopher Morrissey is a 2021 LHP/1B with a 6-1 185 lb. frame from Duluth, GA who attends Duluth. Stocky build with present strength. Runs a 7.91 sixty-yard dash. Stretch only delivery using a belt high leg lift with drop and drive mechanics to the plate. Showed good lower half mechanics with good hip rotation in delivery. Throws from a low three-quarter arm slot with developing arm speed. Displayed a fastball with good arm side run topping out at 69 miles per hour complemented by a curve ball with an eleven-five shape at 58 miles per hour and a change up with sinking action at 60 miles per hour. Showed the ability to throw all three pitches for a strike in all counts. Displayed deliberate footwork with confident glove action in the infield. Throws from a low three quarter arm slot with developing arm strength topping out at 65 miles per hour from first base. Left handed hitter. Utilizes a slightly closed upright stance with a low hand and elbow set up. Employs a middle to opposite field line drive approach. Flashed the ability to drive line drives to the opposite field. Excellent student.
