Brian Stewart is a 2006 SS/3B/C with a 5'11'', 190 lb. frame from Kennesaw GA, who attends Kennesaw Mountain HS. He has a present strong body and some physical maturity. Stewart's best tools are with the bat. He has very good bat speed and projects power at the college level. His hands are quick and strong and he showed he could turn on balls with wood and drive the ball hard. Stewart knows how to hit and hits with confidence. Defensively, Stewart profiles to the corner infield positions. He fields from a narrow base and has good body control and balance. His hands are in good position to field the ball. His arm strength was playable during the games and his overall defense will improve with continued work on his quickness. Stewart is a 7.70 runner in the 60. His bat will determine how high and how much he plays in the future. Stewart is also a good student.
