LATEST PG SHOWCASE REPORT
2004 World Showcase
May is a lean, projectable 6-3 southpaw from Tennessee. He threw 75-79 mph at the World Showcase from a severe overhand release point that forced him to pull his head out of the way to reach his release point. May also threw a 65 mph curveball with good spin and turned over a nice 70 mph change up. May’s arm works well and he’s got a great pitcher’s body but his release point and delivery are really standing in the way of his improving his velocity and pitchability. He could make significant improvement with a different approach. At 6'3/190 with long arms and being a lefty his best years are still ahead of him.
