Cameron Neal is a 2020 OF/RHP with a 6-1 185 lb. frame from Tallahassee, FL who attends North Florida Christian. Big and strong athletic build. Right handed hitter, hits from a narrow upright start with a positive move to his front side, hits off a strong front leg, short quick hands to the ball, stays on the ball well and hits through it creating back spin and carry, pull to mid field contact, has present hitting tools and projects to keep improving. 6.87 runner, has advanced footwork and actions through the ball in the outfield, very accurate throws with carry, has polish and athleticism on defense. Also pitched, has smooth and repeatable balanced mechanics, works downhill very well from a high 3/4's arm slot. Fastball topped out at 84 mph, works at the bottom of the zone well and throws lots of strikes, breaking ball release point still developing. Very good all around athlete with skills. Excellent student.
