Skyler Brown is a 2020 LHP/1B/OF with a 6-0 225 lb. frame from Grand Rivers, KY who attends IMG Academy. Big and strong build. High hand set/high leg raise delivery, gets his hips turned well, methodical well controlled delivery with a full arm circle in back and 3/4's arm slot coming through, consistent in his delivery timing and the ball comes out clean. Fastball topped out at 88 mph, has been up to 91 mph in the past at PG events, has the ability to locate his fastball especially arm side, has some heavy sinking action and can generate ground balls. Slurve type breaking ball, still developing feel for consistently spinning and locating the pitch. Development of his secondary pitches is key to his future success. Good student.
