Sam Stephenson is a 2020 SS/IF/OF with a 5-9 165 lb. frame from Springdale, AR who attends Har-Ber. Lean athletic build with lots of fast twitch athleticism. 6.70 runner, very athletic actions in the middle infield, rounds the ball well with quick and active feet, always moving towards where he's throwing the ball, makes accurate online throws. Also plays the outfield with pretty much the same athleticism and skills, type who will be an asset across multiple positions at the next level. Right handed hitter, hits from a slightly open stance with a high elbow/high hand start, shows good bat speed with quick hands, line drive swing with good bat speed and jump, has things to do to shorten his swing but has the tools to do it. Very good student. Named to the South Prospect Showcase Top Prospect List.
