Carter Graham is a 2020 3B/OF with a 6-2 200 lb. frame from Calabasas, CA who attends Chaminade College Prep. Large, athletic frame with broad shoulders and standout physicality, present strength proportioned well throughout. Ran a 7.49 60-yard dash. Primary third baseman, fields the ball out front with hands that play well, moves well on feet and shows overall balance to actions, short arm action through the back side, extra step at release, shows comfort dropping arm slot and throwing accurately across. Short steps moving to the ball in outfield, overall actions will continue to refine with reps, compact arm action and shows carry to the bag. Righthanded hitter, begins with a high hand set and back elbow at the plate, utilizes a simple weight shift through lower half moving into contact. Easy swing with quick hands, shows a line drive swing plane with jump off the barrel when squared. Stays balanced and shows a feel for the barrel through the zone, nice carry to pull side and should hit for power moving forward. Excellent student.
