Pete Weil is a 2018 RHP/ with a 6-2 155 lb. frame from Atlanta, GA who attends Woodward Academy. Big build, long and thin frame with very loose limbs. Primary righthanded pitcher, Short side step turning slightly away from hitter coming to balance with a belt high leg lift, would like to see the glove side get implemented into windup for increased velocity, clean and loose arm action to a 3/4 arm slot, slight crossfire delivery with some effort and intent, four pitch mix, fastball had good armside run, 11-to-5 curveball that he showed feel for particularly early in counts, sweeping slider used as a swing-and-miss pitch later in counts, flashed a low- to-mid-70s changeup with tumble, exhibited that he was comfortable using all pitches in all counts. Good student.
