Trevor Burkhart is a 2018 MIF/OF with a 5-10 180 lb. frame from Davenport, IA who attends Davenport West. Medium frame with a lean, athletic build. Frame projects for additional strength while maintaining athleticism. Ran a 6.72 sixty-yard dash. Primary middle infielder with smooth, athletic footwork while ranging for and surrounding the baseball. Clean glove actions while funneling the baseball and works through exchange with fluidity. Primarily released from a compact three-quarters slot but flashed the ability to change arm action and throw with accuracy while on the run as well, topped at 86 miles per hour. Right handed hitter with an upright, slightly open stance and compact hand set. Creates some coil at load and utilized a simple front side trigger. Compact hand pat to contact with a level, line drive plane through extension. Showed good feel for the barrel and consistently squared baseball throughout batting practice utilizing a mid field to pull side approach.
