Marquis Mitchell is a 2024 OF/UT with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Jonesboro, GA who attends Georgia Premier Academy. Tall lean frame. In the outfield, tends to wait back a bit but fields cleanly and throws with short arm stroke producing moderate carrying accuracy. At the plate, he sets up with widespread base and hands tight to the body. The first move is a leg lift trigger to a violent pass. Creates some leverage but can get over rotational leading to barrel accuracy issues. 6.74 60-yard. Outstanding student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
