Bryce Carroll is a 2019 RHP/2B/UT with a 6-1 165 lb. frame from Land O Lakes, FL who attends Bishop McLaughlin Catholic. Slender young build, middle infielder's look, plenty of room to get stronger. Works from an abbreviated stretch position on the mound, drop and drive mechanics to the plate with a long stride out. Fastball topped out at 85 mph, very consistent with his velocity through three innings, mostly straight, showed the ability to get above hitter's hands, strike thrower with his fastball. Curveball was his best pitch, has good spin and bite and is consistent with the release and placement. Right handed hitter, simple approach with a lift and replace load, short and direct line drive swing, hits the ball out front with a high contact swing approach. 6.89 runner. Good student.
