Bowen Bock is a 2018 OF/RHP/3B with a 6-4 185 lb. frame from Cumming, GA who attends West Forsyth HS. Lean and tall athletic build, very projectable physically. 6.80 runner, arm works very well both in the outfield and in the infield, shows his athleticism defensively in his actions. Right handed hitter, hits from an open stance with a simple approach and a short and efficient swing, has present bat speed and makes solid line drive middle of the field contact, showed the ability to open up his swing and drive the ball with some lift as well. Two-way prospect on the mound, has a smooth and easy delivery that uses his lower half well, high 3/4's arm slot, good extension out front. Fastball topped out at 87 mph, hides the ball well in his delivery and ball gets on hitters quickly, nice running life on his fastball. Curveball has 11/5 shape and will show nice depth at times. Deceptive change up gives him three solid present pitches. Very interesting all around athlete with lots of projection. Very good student.
