Angel Ackerman is a 2020 OF/SS with a 5-8 155 lb. frame from Choctaw, OK who attends Choctaw High School. Incredibly young player with a lean, slender build, athleticism, and room to continue to fill out physically and add strength. Posted a 6.94 time in the 60 yard dash. Primary outfielder, moved through the ball well, fielded the ball deep, and showed a full arm action on throws. Developing arm strength that will improve with age. At the plate, started with a wide and open stance. Simple approach through the ball with a still hand load and simple stride into swing. Loose right handed swing with longer hand path to the ball. Made consistent contact and will continue to improve with age and additional strength in swing. Good student.
