Mason Port is a 2020 3B/RHP, MIF, OF with a 6-2 170 lb. frame from Woodstock, GA who attends River Ridge. Flashed a medium to large frame with a lean, athletic type build showing to be very projectable. Long limbs. Ran a 7.55 second sixty yard dash. Primary Thirdbaseman sitting back on the baseball before showing a bed at waist type gather. Young mechanics moving well around the baseball. Arm is smooth and accurate with carry across the diamond. Flashed some range at times as well. Secondary Righthanded pitcher showing a longer arm action while delivering downhill. Proved to gain ground and get extension. Over the top arm slot. Mixed up pitches and changed eye levels keeping hitters guessing. Fastball topped out at 78 mph with a nice fading changeup mixed in. Secondary Outfielder attacking the baseball and fielding it out front. Showing athletic movements with good routes. Easy arm stroke as he was accurate as well with throws showing carry to the bag. Righthanded hitter starting from a narrow stance with a closed off front side. Middle of the field approach as he generated plus bat speed. Longer swing path but finds the barrel often making loud contact consistently. Great Student. Named to Southeast Prospect Showcase Top Prospect List.
