Noah Johnson is a 2023 OF/2B, SS with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Austell, GA who attends Mceachern. Ran a 7.20 second sixty-yard dash time. Primary outfielder with a tall frame, evident strength, and athleticism. Range and agility in the outfield which created the ability to work behind he ball well, creating nice line to target. Fields to the glove side with one-handed gather, working through the ball with feel, a quick transfer, and over-top release. Fluid arm-action stays unrestricted with extension out front. Throws at 83-mph with carry and accuracy to bases. Similar actions seen in the infield with range and feel for the glove, working through the ball with clean actions. Quick transfer to throwing hand, which then produced online result with carry across at 79-mph. Right-handed hitter with a square stance and hands high in his setup at the plate. Leg lift trigger, shifts weight to backside with proper load allowing to track pitches to the plate with patience. Hand-eye coordination present with the barrel, and bat-speed as the ability to meet the ball out front with extension and feel for the barrel lead to loud pull side contact. Twitch in the box creates time in the box, allowing to see pitches deep, and make strong contact to all fields as he does not try to do too much. Good student.
