Vincenzo Camera is a 2017 RHP/OF, UT with a 6-0 173 lb. frame from East Haven, CT who attends East Haven High School. Medium, athletic frame with square shoulders and shows present strength proportioned throughout frame. Ran a 7.02 60-yard dash. Primary righthanded pitcher, takes a side step moving into delivery, full hand path, gets tall on backside well with a slight hip turn at top of delivery. Short and compact arm action with a tight release from a three-quarters arm slot, throws easy and shows quickness to arm action. Lands slightly closed down the mound, works on top of fastball and able to create some angle to glove side, topped out at 82 mph, mostly true in life with occasional running life. Can miss bats with fastball, showed a feel for an 11-5 shaped curveball with short depth. Similar arm action from the outfield, long strides moving towards the ball to work behind it, ball comes out of hand well and shows accuracy and carry. Righthanded hitter, begins with an even stance and a high back elbow in the box. Upper body dominant swing, shows quickness to hands and remains balanced through swing. Lien drive swing plane through the zone, ball comes off the barrel well with comfort hitting to pull side.
