Isaiah Lopez is a 2021 SS/RHP/OF with a 5-11 145 lb. frame from Peachtree City, GA who attends Mcintosh HS. Medium and young frame with lean and loose limbs, room to fill and time to do so. Ran a 7.25 second 60 yard dash. Primary shortstop, sits back on the baseball, takes long strides to the ball to either side laterally, high effort and young actions that will continue to improve with additional reps at the position, long arm action into throws with developing arm strength. Secondary righthanded pitcher, deliberate delivery with multiple checkpoints throughout, takes arm back to a a long arm action up to a high 3/4 arm slot, creates some angle to the plate, fastball topped out at 74 mph with frequent cutting action, curveball has 12-to-6 shape with good feel for the offering, filled up the strike zone working to both sides of the plate and forcing early contact. Lefthanded hitter, sets up to hit with a high hand set and a high back elbow, pulls the barrel through the hitting zone on a flat bat path, stays on plane for an extended period of time, multiple moving components to the swing, developing strength off of the barrel that will improve as he matures physically.
