Matteo Falcone is a 2018 OF/3B with a 5-9 155 lb. frame from Yonkers, NY who attends Archbishop Stepinac. Young, athletic frame with a lean and projectable build, room to fill out with additional strength. Ran a 7.66 60-yard dash. Primary out fielder, shows a short and compact arm action through the back side and works over his front side well. Short and quick steps to the ball, fields the ball out front with a quick release, arm strength will continue to develop. Right-handed hitter, starts with a wide base and a high hand set and back elbow. Slight wrap at start of swing, shows nice balance and discipline at the plate. Line drive swing plane, gets the barrel through the zone with a long finish, shows ability to use all fields with a nice use of his hands. Very good student.
