Grayson Skweres is a 2016 OF/RHP with a 5-10 155 lb. frame from Houston, TX who attends Second Baptist HS. Medium, athletic build with a lean, projectable build and room to fill out with additional strength. Ran a 7.37 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, moves well on feet to the ball, gets on top of throws and shows carry and strength to intended bag from short arm action. Works behind the ball and projects with continued incorporation of lower half. Also pitched, higher three-quarter arm slot on the mound with short arm action in the back. Ran fastball up to 76 mph, short stride down the mound and showed depth to curveball at 66 mph. Left-handed hitter, starts with an upright and open stance, gets closed with leg lift trigger. High hand set, creates consistent line drive contact to pull side. Patient approach and stays inside the ball well, shows feel for the barrel and ability to hit to all fields. Good student.
