Josh Henderson is a 2017 C/RHP, 3B with a 5-11 180 lb. frame from Flowery Branch, GA who attends Lakeview Academy. Medium frame with solid, athletic build; body projects well. Sets up to hit from wide-based, open stance; gets on line drive swing plane with hands close to body throughout, extends well through contact, inside-out approach with good contact to the opposite field and back up the middle. Worked out behind the plate, very long arm stroke through release, receives out front with two hands and gains some ground forward, popped as low as 2.14 seconds. Pitched as well, wraps arm back behind body, lands closed with crossfire action, fastball worked 71-75 MPH with some arm side life. Showed very good curveball with 11/5 shape and big depth, definite swing-and-miss pitch moving forward with good command. Threw strikes. Excellent student.
