Strong prototype catcher's build. 7.01 runner, very balanced athletically behind the plate, sound fundamental footwork and mechanics in all his defensive actions, gets rid of the ball quickly with good arm strength. Right handed hitter, good lower half shift into contact with a short and direct hand path, has quick hands that create plenty of bat speed, fluid swing that is simple and repeatable, flashes some pull side power and has strength at contact, good extension out front. Chance to be an above average offensive performer for a catcher. Verbal commitment to South Carolina.
