Keilin Washington is a 2017 OF/RHP with a 5-6 140 lb. frame from Orange Park, FL who attends Trinity Christian Academy. Washington has a smaller frame with a strong build. Defensively he moves to the ball well in the outfield with nice hands and clean transfers. Washington has solid outfield actions and he maintains balance through release. He has some effort to his throws and has arm strength up to 81 MPH. At the plate, Washington starts with a slightly open stance with a lower hand set. He gets coiled well at load and has quick hands to the baseball. Washington showed good barrel skills and made consistent hard contact in BP and in the games. The ball jumps off his bat and he can hit it to all fields. Washington pitches from a 3/4 arm slot with a quick arm action. He gets some heavy sinking life to his fastball and he throws a tight slider at 70 MPH. Good student, named to Top Prospect Team.
