Alex Fedje-Johnson is a 2016 SS/RHP/OF, 3B with a 6-1 185 lb. frame from Minneapolis, MN who attends Minnehaha Academy. Large atheltic frame. At the plate shows a slightly open stance and a higher back elbow set. Has an efficient hand path that creates some lift through contact. Swings hard and creates solid bat speed through the zone with balance throughout. BP and game approach were consistent with a mid-field, gap to gap approach. Consistently squared up ball with hard contact to all fields while showing nice barrel extension through the zone. From the infield shows plus charging ability with athletic actions and some range to both sides. Smooth funneling actions when surrounding the ball. Plus arm with a tap from a 3/4 slot and online carry to the bag, topped at 84 mph across the infield. Shows athletic actions and glove work form the outfield as well. Shows a loose arm action that produces solid online carry with accuracy. Topped at 85 mph. Very good student as well.
