Ben Closson is a 2016 C/1B, 3B with a 6-1 160 lb. frame from Lancaster, NY who attends Lancaster. Tall, lean, strongly built catcher with more room to add strength. Looks the part behind home plate. Ran a 7.34 60 yard dash. Gets the ball out very quickly and has a short, repeatable arm action behind the plate. Transfers the ball cleanly. More arm strength on the way. Bats right-handed, works from an upright, simple approach. Hits to the middle of the field. Starts slightly open and knows how to go the other way. Has an aggressive approach. Very good student.
