Trevor Lessenberry is a 2020 MIF/RHP with a 5-10 155 lb. frame from Lexington, TN who attends Lexington. Small and stocky build with lots of room to fill out physically and time to do so. Ran a 7.09 second 60 yard dash. Primary middle infielder, too short steps to the ball in drills, soft hands with clean actions, takes an extra step into release, average arm strength that should continue and improve with development, topped out at 79 across the diamond, projects nicely as a second baseman moving forward. Secondary righthanded pitcher, online and balanced delivery with some deception coming through, long arm action up to a high 3/4 arm slot, creates some downhill plane, developing arm speed. Fastball showed some short sink up to 79 mph, mixed in a mid-60s curveball that showed potential, worked mostly to the glove side half of the plate with both offerings. Righthanded hitter, spread out and open stance, deep hand load, arm bars in swing, level swing plane getting mostly on top of the baseball during round, looks to work all fields and can do so nicely. Outstanding student.
