Caden Lemons is a 2017 RHP with a 6-6 175 lb. frame from Birmingham, AL who attends Vestvia Hills HS. Tall and very slender build, lots of physical projection. Long and loose arm action with very good arm speed coming through, hides the ball well despite his arm length, stays on line well although he can develop more lower half consistency. Fastball topped out at 91 mph, plenty more velocity in there, can get his fastball to both sides of the plate and his high 3/4's arm slot creates big angle. Has a nice change up with good arm speed and deception. Curveball has potential with big angle and occasional tight spin down in the zone but inconsistent in release and quality. Still has work to do but is a potential high ceiling pitcher with physical maturity. Good student, verbal commitment to Mississippi.
