John O'Connor is a 2015 OF/1B with a 6-2 185 lb. frame from Boynton Beach, FL who attends Spanish River HS. Large frame, athletic build, projectable body. Simple approach at the plate, good balance, quick hands, pull approach, fluid swing, good pullside power, good barrel control, swung the bat well in game at-bats. Good athlete, ran 6.89 60 yard dash, solid arm. Good student, named to the National Underclass Main Event top prospect team.
