Marco A. Rivera Rios is a 2014 OF with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Vega Alta, PR who attends Carlos Beltran Baseball Academy. Tightly wound athletic build, good present strength. 6.57 runner, moves well in the outfield, centerfield tools, outstanding arm strength with plus carry, accurate on line throws, long fast arm action, top level defensive tools. Right handed hitter, spread stance, big rock back load, aggressive swing with very good bat speed, tends to overswing and pull off at times, ball comes off the barrel hard when squared, long line drive swing plane, can drive fastballs with bat speed but will need to learn to make adjustments to off speed pitches. Very toolsy player whose athleticism stands out. Good student. Named to the Caribbean Showcase Top Prospect team.
