Nicholas Kahle is a 2016 C with a 5-11 195 lb. frame from Simi Valley, CA who attends Chaminade College Prep. Medium athletic build with good strength throughout. Has quick and very compact actions behind the plate, footwork is quick and well coordinated, strong arm with very accurate throws, stood out defensively in games with his quickness and execution. Right handed hitter, upright narrow stance, short stride into contact, long fluid swing with a good plane to contact, creates backspin on the ball, hits from on top, good bat speed, best contact to left centerfield with carry, has a simple and well executed approach. Nice all around catching talent. Very good student, verbal commitment to Washington.
