Tristan Babin is a 2015 LHP/OF with a 6-3 187 lb. frame from Gonzales, LA who attends East Ascension HS. Babin has a large frame with long limbs and room to fill out. As a left handed pitcher he showed long arm action, throws easy and has mound presence. Works downhill, attacks hitters with good arm side run on his fastball. Curveball had 1-7 tight breaking action. As an outfielder he displayed good arm action with smooth fielding actions and online carry with good arm strength. As a left handed hitter he hit from an open stance with a loose swing and a line drive swing plane. Good bat speed with pop in his bat. Named to Top Prospect List and Team. Excellent Student.
