Thomas Johns is a 2016 1B/3B/RHP with a 6-2 220 lb. frame from Pinson, AL who attends Clay-Chalkville HS. Big and strong power hitter's build. Left handed hitter, wide base hitting, high hand start, upper half rotational swing, hands stay short to the ball, moves into contact hard and swings hard, lift and pull power approach, has big power when he squares up the ball. 7.40 runner, very good raw arm strength, moves well for his size and has good footwork. Good student, verbal commitment to Auburn.
