Dalton Atnip is a 2014 1B/OF with a 6-3 200 lb. frame from Rowlett, TX who attends Rowlett HS. Big strong athletic build, plenty of room to get stronger. Right handed hitter, limited stride and weight shift, strong upper body swing, has some bat speed, keeps his swing path short, solid game contact, ball carries well off the barrel, power to all fields, could really take a step forward with a few adjustments. 7.38 runner, agile around the first base bag, accurate throws and good fundamentals, big target. Good student.
