Edison Cabrera is a 2014 MIF with a 5-7 150 lb. frame from Opa-Locka, FL who attends American HS. Slender frame with lots of room to fill out and add strength. Active defensive infielder with quick actions and feet that work well. Good lateral movement and footwork, good charging the ball. Hands are soft with smooth arm action and solid arm strength. Good actions around bag when playing 2B. Simple swing mechanics at the plate. Stays short to the ball. Good balance with fluidity in his swing. Aggressive swing with middle of the field to opposite field contact. Good base runner. Very good student.
