Ashton Harris is a 2013 1B/RHP with a 5-11 205 lb. frame from Conroe, TX who attends Oak Ridge HS. Thick build, good raw strength. Closed stance, rotational upper half, hand drop load, has some hand quickness, can drive the ball to right centerfield with his strength, not consistent with his swing mechanics but flashes bat speed and nice fluid extension. Limited to first base defensively, 8.07 runner. Also pitched, 3/4's release, extended arm action, fastball to 73 mph, lowers release on curveball.
