Reilly Johnson is a 2015 C/SS with a 5-9 150 lb. frame from Lake Wales, FL who attends Winter Haven HS. Medium, athletic build, young look, lean frame, projects with added strength. Strong runner, posted a 6.90 60 yard dash. Primary catcher, short arm action on throws, gets on top of ball, solid carry, quick transfer and release, strong footwork. Soft hands, blocks well in dirt. Moves well on feet in the infield, glides to ball, sound exchange with accurate throws. Hands play, good body control. Right handed batter, starts with high hand set, stays balanced, and shows a patient approach. Some length in swing but has a loose, quick bat and gets good extension. Shows some pop to pull side and will continue to improve with added strength. Excellent student. Named to National Underclass Main Event Top Prospect List and Team.
