Phil Negus is a 2006 right handed pitcher from Milford, Massachusetts, with a big and strong 6'2"/190 pound frame. On the mound, Negus throws from a 3/4 arm slot with a balanced delivery that uses his lower half well. He showed very good arm strength with an 88 mph fastball that has great life. He does a good job maintaining arm speed on his changeup with solid arm side fade. He also throws an 11-5 breaking curveball at 68 mph with good depth. As a right handed hitter, he hits from an upright stance. Phil generates good power at the plate with good raw power and projectable power. Negus is a must follow and a potential two way player.
