Francisco Pena is a 2013 RHP with a 6-4 185 lb. frame from Richmond, TX who attends Klein Collins HS. Young body, long loose and projectable. Drifting leg raise delivery, can stay back better, quick rushed arm circle. Mid 80's fastball, topped out at 88 mph, have seen up to 90 mph this summer, gets very good sink and run on fastball at times with nice downhill angle. Change up best off speed pitch, lots of confidence in it, has cut and sink at different times. Soft curveball spin, tends to slow arm on curveball. Loose arm and very projectable, will improve with delivery adjustments. Verbal commitment to Sam Houston State.
