Tomlinson is a 5-8 junior right handed pitcher from Florida. He has a loose arm and generates nice arm speed for his size from a high ¾’s arm slot. Tomlinson's fastball was 79-81 mph. His out pitch was a 66-68 mph curveball that was a really good pitch at times, with a sharp downer break to it. Tomlinson also threw a 68-70 mph changeup Tomlinson swung the bat pretty well for a pitcher his size, too. He had a nice, balanced swing and was short and quick to the ball with some extension out front. He’s probably a pretty nice high school hitter. Tomlinson is also a very good student.
