Cooper Ball is a 2027 RHP/1B with a 6-4 210 lb. frame from Horseheads, NY who attends Horseheads. Big and strong athletic build with some projection remaining.. Primary right handed pitcher with two-way potential as a right handed hitting first baseman. Works from an abbreviated wind up on the mound with a big coil over the rubber, high 3/4's arm slot, repeats his mechanics well and can get the ball to both sides of the plate with downhill angle. Fastball topped out at 88 mph with big carry at times. Soft slider hand some two-plane sharpness, killed the spin well on his change up. Right handed hitter, sets up in an upright stance with a hanging leg raise trigger, has big leverage in his swing and plenty of lift, loud contact with carry when he's on time, big power projection. 7.11 runner in the sixty. Has good feel and athleticism at first base defensively. Excellent student.
