Max Sutch is a 2030 LHP/1B/OF with a 5-10 147 lb. frame from Warren, OH who attends Howland. Lean young build. Works exclusively from the stretch from the third base side of the rubber, still developing consistency in his stride and release. Fastball topped out at 72 mph with some arm side life in the zone. Slider was his best pitch with some spin and two-plane shape. 8.47 runner in the sixty. Worked out at first base and in the outfield on defense with developing fundamentals and arm strength. Right handed hitter, sets up in a narrow and upright stance with a low hand load, short stride into his swing, line drive swing plane, flashed some young strength and impact, mostly pull side to mid field contact, graded out higher at this event as a hitter than as a pitcher. Good student.
