Karsten Whitson is a 2010 RHP with a 6'4'', 190 lb. frame from Chipley, FL who attends Chipley HS. Long and slender athletic build, plus projection. Smooth delivery, maintains balance/direction well. Extremely quick, smooth and easy arm. FB was steady at 92-94 mph, has shown even more, plus sinking life on FB, works FB to spots up and down, primary FB pitcher, maintains velo from stretch. SL is late and sharp at times, gets off barrell late, could add a bit more velocity to SL. Didn't throw change in dome. Sky is the limit talent, early draft prospect. Very good student, verbal to FL. Aflac All-American.
